Children’s Social Skills Group

August 18 - 22, 2025 - Registration now open!

Join us for a fun and interactive social skills group designed to support children in developing confidence and success in social settings. This group is geared toward children approximately 6 to 9 years old who may experience challenges with social interaction.

Sessions will be led by a certified Occupational Therapist and Speech-Language Pathologist. Parents will also participate in a virtual review session to explore ongoing strategies.

• Flexible thinking

• Learning emotional regulation skills

• Making a group plan

• Taking turns

• Staying on task

• Collaborative play and shared imagination

If you have an FSCD contract, participation may be covered through respite or community aide hours. Parents are encouraged to speak with their caseworker to confirm eligibility. Please note: the group requires a minimum number of participants to run.

Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Therapy services may be covered by your health plan and are tax-deductible.

Days: August 18 - 22, 2025 (5 sessions) 

Time: 10:00 am - 11:30 am 

Cost: $475.00
