Speech and Language Therapy Workshop

Speech and Language Therapy Workshop

About this Event

We will be hosting a Speech and Language Therapy workshop led by Jo Reimer on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 7pm until 8:30pm. This will be a virtual workshop with a cost of $35.00.

In this interactive workshop, you will learn about properly setting the stage for speech (and communication) for nonverbal and minimally-verbal preschool children with social-communication challenges.

Learn more about Jo Reimer below:

Jo Reimer graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology. She was drawn to the field after spending a couple of decades raising two sons on the Autism Spectrum, having seen the impact communication and play therapy had on her family. She has worked in several settings, including schools, but she loves the experience of working with parents and children in the home setting. Whether in person or via teletherapy, Jo believes in a child-led, play-based approach that focuses on the family's routines of daily living.

Note: A link will be provided via email when a ticket has been purchased. A Q&A will be held after the workshop. Our services may be covered by benefits depending on your health plans and are tax deductible.
