Growing Changes presents a social skills group for children.

This will be a fun and interactive group that focuses on social skills in a small group environment.

Areas targeted will include: 

• Flexible thinking

• Learning emotional regulation skills

• Making a group plan

• Taking turns

• Staying on task

• Collaborative play and sharing an imagination

This group is designed for: 

• Verbal learners ages 5 - 7 who struggle in social settings

This group will be in person and COVID protocols will be followed according to AHS guidelines. The group will be run by Occupational Therapists and an online parent group session will be completed to review children’s skills and explore strategies for the future at the end of the five sessions. Parents will also be provided with daily handouts with a specific focus on skills taught after each class. 

Days: July 5 – 9, 2021 (5 sessions)
