Skills we’ll Build Together Group

Join us for a fun, engaging group designed for children ages 6–9 who would benefit from support building connections and confidence in social settings.

Sessions are led by Occupational Therapists in a small-group environment that encourages participation and growth. Parents will receive updates and resources after each session, along with an opportunity to connect with the therapist during the final session.

AREAS OF FOCUS INCLUDE:

  • Developing flexible thinking

  • Building emotional regulation skills

  • Participating in group activities Making a group plan

  • Practicing turn-taking & sharing ideas

  • Staying on task

  • Engaging in collaborative & imaginative play

If you have an FSCD contract, participation may be eligible for coverage through respite or community aide hours. We recommend connecting with your caseworker to confirm eligibility and available supports.

Please note that a minimum number of participants is required for the group to run.

Occupational Therapy services may be eligible for coverage through your extended health plan and may qualify as tax-deductible medical expenses.

Days: August 24 - 28, 2026 (5 sessions) 

Time: 10:00 am - 11:30 am 

Cost: $475.00
